Politics :p

I don’t understand politics. Sometimes I feel like I understand people even less.

This caucus, political voting is driving me crazy. Everyone is pissing their pants about it, but the fact of the matter is that it’s necessary and it doesn’t tell who the President will be. It tells who goes to the convention. Then those who are chosen battle it out at the conventions.

I am not convinced by a candidate quite yet, I will admit. But I have a mother who thinks Obama is the anti-Christ… Yea, go figure. Some people are definitely set in their ways.

Like an old man who wrote a letter. I read the letter- all in capital letters like he was yelling at me, and I typed it so it could be published. He had a negative opinion about everything and everyone except John McCain. But of course he served in the military.

See, what I can’t understand is why people jump the gun when it comes to elections. Give me front runners, give me leaders, and then let me watch them flip-flop their way into oblivion. I’m good with that. I’ll decide my vote when I have my choices, so I don’t get my heartbroken by a silly caucus vote.

I can’t imagine what would inspire someone to run for President. You pretty much have to be a crook to make it in politics. Isn’t that sad? They make a bunch of empty promises as a means to better the world, but it doesn’t really help. As long as cruel people like money in their pockets, the free world will never be right. Maybe we should just all run for President and vote for ourselves?
